To further Blue Origin's mission of having millions of people living and working in space, we are building the sustainable infrastructure for our transport of crew and cargo from Earth to the Lunar Surface.As part of a diverse and hardworking team of engineers, you will contribute to the definition and development of spacecraft thermal control systems. You should be comfortable working in a fast-paced and often uncertain environment, contributing to innovative solutions, while demonstrating personal leadership, technical competence, and attention to detail. We are looking for system and/or component level analysts to advance the thermal systems of multiple generations of lunar landers.For system level transient thermal analysis of lunar landers in ground, launch, Earth orbit, cis-lunar space, lunar orbit, and lunar surface environments using Thermal Desktop, typical tasks include capturing system inputs, performing system level trade studies, performing temperature and heat transfer predictions, and documenting results. For component level analysis, you will work with card level designers, system level thermal analysts, and systems engineers to ensure adequate temperature control of in-house and vendor procured electronic devices and assemblies.Contribute to a team of Thermal Engineers and Analysts simultaneously developing groundbreaking lunar landers. Passion for our mission and vision is required!Minimum Qualifications:Minimum of a B.S. degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering2+ year relevant Thermal Engineering/Analysis experienceSolid understanding of thermal fundamentalsDemonstrated thermal analysis skillsAbility to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and contribute to a culture of inclusion.Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.Preferred Qualifications:M.S. degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering5+ years of relevant aerospace experienceExperience solving a variety of thermal problems demonstrating breadth in analysis applicationProficiency in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, C/C++, FORTRAN, Matlab).Familiarity with Thermal Desktop and Sinda/Fluint, including model validation and test correlationCompensation range for on site WA applicants is$89,820---$125,748 USDInclusivity StatementDon't meet all desired requirements?
