We are searching for the rightindividual to serve as Therapist at our Mukwonago campus. Under thesupervision and direction of the Director of Group Care, the Therapistis responsible to provide individual, group, and family involved careand therapies. All functions and services provided by the Therapistpromote the Norris mission and philosophy for providing servicesutilizing a trauma-informed approach. Clinical services should besensitive to cultural and ethnic diversity of each individual youth. Asa 24/7 treatment program, the Therapist position requires the individualto work a flexible schedule in order to support the needs of the campusand the program. This includes participating in a rotating schedule tosupport nights, weekends, and holidays. Experience and/or knowledge inDialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and Trauma Focused-CognitiveBehavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) are preferred. State of Wisconsin licensureor an active training license is required; Licensed ProfessionalCounselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), LicensedMarriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) or similar licensure preferred.Essential Functions Include: Collaboration with other members of theNorris treatment team, all other program areas, including the NorrisAcademy as well as placing agencies. Provides individual, group andfamily therapy based on the target needs identified in the InitialAssessment and Personalized Treatment Plan. Timely documentation thatmeets or exceeds all licensing and best practice standards. Participatesin all necessary clinical staffings, team meetings, court hearings, etc.as a Norris representative.
