　　The Boundary County Fair Board is seeking applicants for the FAIRMANAGER position. The

　　primary job responsibilities are: to plan, organize, lead, andadminister all activities of the

　　Boundary County Fair; to manage, coordinate, oversee, and participate inpublic relations and

　　marketing activities to publicize the fair; oversee booth rentals;develop, organize, and

　　coordinate sponsorships for fair events; hire, contract and coordinateall judges, volunteers, and

　　sub-contractors for the Fair; work closely with the maintenancedepartment and fair office

　　admin; act as a liaison between the Fair Board and 4H, FFA, LivestockAuction Committee;

　　order and purchase fair supplies; update the Boundary County Fair Bookannually and publish it

　　in a timely manner; and attend most monthly fair board meetings.

　　This is a year-round flexible part-time hourly position with expandedhours beginning in July up

　　to fair week, and then fair week which usually requires 60-70 hours.

　　Experience:

　　High School diploma or GED. Must have excellent verbal and writtencommunication skills, and

　　sufficient combination of knowledge, skills, and abilities to performthe essential functions of the

　　job competently. Must be able to communicate and deal effectively withthe public. Basic

　　understanding of general office skills as well as skills in MicrosoftOffice, (WORD, Excel,

　　Publisher). Must be motivated and able to complete job responsibilitiesin a timely manner and

　　with minimal supervision.
