  Overview

  TEST PLANNING SPECIALSIT (OSD):

  Bowhead seeks a Test Planning Specialist to support the Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD), Joint Test and Evaluation (JTE&E), Joint Program Office (JPO) supporting Joint/Joint Agency, Combatant Command, and Service joint tests and quick reaction tests.

  Responsibilities

  Conducting test planning in the DoD operational testing and evaluation environment.

  Executing models and simulations (M&S) to aid in developing and testing TTP through Distributed Interactive Simulation (DIS) networks as part of a Joint Live, Virtual, and Constructive (JLVC) environment.

  LVC architecture servicing the CCMD exercises.

  Operating or testing in an LVC environment and developing M&S services requirements to meet test event objectives.

  Observing and analyzing test and evaluation operations to ensure conformity with military doctrines, policies, and procedures.

  Providing consultation concerning M&S techniques for the design, development, and planning of M&S use and integration into JT&E projects.

  Conducting research and coordination and develops program test plans and detailed test plans.

  Identifying and evaluating commercial and Government-owned simulations to service joint project testing.

  Advising and assisting in developing the M&S verification, validation, and accreditation planning activities.

  Qualifications

  Ten (10+) years’ of experience required.

  Bachelor’s degree in relevant field required

  Proficient in Excel, Word, and Power Point.

  Demonstrated excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  Demonstrated strong attention to detail.

  Demonstrated skills in prioritization and multi-tasking.

  Physical Demands:

  Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds

  Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged amounts of time

  Must be able to twist, bend and squat periodically

  SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Must currently hold a security clearance at the Top Secret/SCI level. US Citizenship is a requirement for Top Secret clearance at this location.
