Description:

　　A material handling company in West Michigan is looking for a test engineer to be responsible for designing and implementing the tests to ensure the quality and functionality of a product. The test engineer will be mainly responsible for designing test fixtures. writing test procedures, standardizing test reports and troubleshooting errors. This individual will interact with test technicians and test manager daily.

　　Attend morning meetings to discuss major accomplishments from day before, what needs to get done today and where support is needed from other parts of the team.

　　Write test procedures (May need to go out on the floor to take pictures, videos, etc. and make spreadsheets to go into test procedures)

　　Meet with R&D team to determine which products need testing and what the product is supposed to do

　　Conduct quality checks and design tests using the new testing procedures

　　Troubleshoot errors and streamline testing procedures

　　Write final test procedure to be used by technicians

　　Overtime will be responsible for writing test reports to ensure all tests and procedures meet company and industry standards

　　Run / Complete failure analysis (FEA) activities - look at product that has failed and understand why it has to make necessary corrections

　　Skills & Qualifications:

　　MUST HAVES:

　　Bachelors Degree in Engineering

　　Test fixture design experience

　　Experience in technical writing

　　FEA analysis experience

　　NICE TO HAVES:

　　Labview experience

　　AutoCAD or NX experience

　　Project Management experience
