　　Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Test Electricians for a project located in Newport News, VA. This is an opportunity that offers all shifts and the pay rate is $27.31/hour based on experience and skill level plus $120 per diem for candidates living more than 60 miles from the job site.If you are a Test Electrician eager to master your skills alongside other accomplished Craft Professionals, this is your chance to advance your career!

　　Job Scope:

　　Accurately Read and Make Measurements with Tools Including Tape Measures and Stick Rulers

　　Read and Interpret Shipboard Electrical Installation Drawings, Wiring Tables, Schematics, and Work Packages

　　General Deck Electrical Work

　　Read and Identify Equipment and Component Label Plates

　　Verify Circuit Continuity using Applicable Drawings, Meters, and Test Equipment

　　Test and Inspect Low, Medium, and High Voltage Cable Installations

　　Troubleshoot Electrical Performance Deficiencies

　　Read Schematics and Determine the Cause of the Fault in the System Drawings and Components

　　Other Tasks as Assigned

　　Requirements:

　　3-5+ Years of Experience

　　Must Have a Basic Understanding of DC and AC Motors

　　Working Knowledge of Electrical Components in a System

　　Working Knowledge of Schematic Symbols

　　Familiar with LVR Low Voltage Release and LCP Low Voltage Protection

　　Proficient in the Use of Basic Electrical Meters and Test Instruments

　　An Intermediate/Advanced Understanding of a Ships Power Distribution System

　　Must be Knowledgeable in Lockout/Tagout and Hazardous Energy Control Procedures

　　Must be Physically Able to Climb Vertical and Inclined Stairs and Ladders, Crawl, Bend, Stoop, Work at Heights, and Work in Confined Spaces

　　Must Pass a Background Check and Drug Screen

　　Must be Clean Shaven
