Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Test Engineer to join our team in Hanover, MD.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Work with CNO Development Teams and Stakeholders to better understand requirements, improve test effectiveness, and resolve defects
Analyze requirements and specifications across multiple products and applications to write acceptance criteria, test cases, test scenarios, and test data
Work with stakeholders to determine User Acceptance Tests and System Tests
Able to create, update, and maintain documentation for system integration testing, user acceptance testing, regression testing, API testing, UI Testing, and data-driven automated testing scenarios
Able to coordinate all activities within Agile Scrum Software Development methodologies with a cross-functional team approach
Execute test scripts and fully document all defects during test execution
Prepare test estimates, test plans and defect reports
Develop and maintain effective working relationships with team members
Provide status of testing to leadership, stakeholders and coordinate weekly sync-up meetings
Knowledge of programming concepts and some experience in a software programming language
Strong in observing/analyzing issues and communicating issues with clear and precise description
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree and 7 years of experience in manual and testing (OR 11 years testing experience in lieu of degree)
Knowledge of test processes and test case development
Experience in SAFe Agile development methodology or other scrum frameworks
Experience working in both Windows and Linux/Unix environment
Work with minimal management supervision.
Willingness to travel
Preferred Qualifications:
Able to create and organize test plans, test sets, and test executions in Gitlab, Jenkins or other DevSecOps CI/CD pipelines
Experience using WebdriverIO, Selenium, Cucumber, and Postman to create automated tests for Java and front-end programming languages
Knowledge in web application UI models and how components interact via common internet protocols (HTTP, SSL, Email, SOAP, XML, etc.)
Experience with Docker and Command Line Interface (CLI)
Experienced in performance test tools (JMeter, Grinder, etc.) desired.
Knowledge of Java based development tools a plus
Basic SQL database query knowledge
Experience working in Linux/Unix environment
Security Clearance Requirement:
An active Top Secret clearance is required to start.Physical Requirements:
