  Pearson VUE offers a great environment to start or grow your career. We are currently seeking a part-time Test Administrator to join our team in Cincinnati, Ohio (4805 Montgomery Rd Suite 220 Norwood, OH 45212).

  Please note this is a temporary position that will go through the end of September 2024, with the opportunity to extend employment.

  Starting pay is $17.20 per hour.

  Responsibilities

  The Test Administrator position is responsible for providing secure exam delivery and superior customer service in a comfortable, friendly environment. In this position, you will be required to:

  Adhere with all testing procedures and company policies using careful judgment

  Check in testing candidates, verify identification, and explain the exam process

  Proctor / invigilate candidates while testing

  Collaborate with internal departments to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues

  Perform required security checks including the use of biometric data collection, as required

  Report and/or resolve any candidate issues that arise with urgency

  Preform light housekeeping duties, such as sanitizing testing workstations after each candidate has completed their examination

  Other tasks as assigned

  Schedule Requirements

  Our ideal candidate demonstrates teamwork, with the availability to work a variety of shifts any day - Monday through Saturday - between the hours of 7:15 am and 8 pm. Candidate must be open to flexible scheduling.

  This is strictly a part-time position and will remain as such, 10 to 15 hours per week, with an expectation to work more hours if needed.

  Schedules are available at least 4 weeks in advance.

  Qualifications

  Our ideal candidate should be flexible in work hours and days

  High school diploma or equivalent is required

  Minimum of 1 year customer service experience is preferred

  Comfortable with public speaking and the ability to communicate professionally

  Experience proctoring and/or teaching experience is highly preferred

  Familiar with Microsoft Windows-based computer programs (including MS Office applications such as Word, Excel and Outlook)

  Ability to write detailed and accurate reports and correspondence

  Must be able to physically move through the testing room to escort candidates to and from the testing room.

  Must be able to bend, stoop and lift up to 20 lbs with reasonable accommodation.

  Must be comfortable in a quiet testing environment, hear soft voices and see details from a distance.
