  Territory Sales Manager - Denver or Phoenix

  Position Spotlight:

  In order to help Cochlear continue to grow and service our customers, we arerecruiting for a Territory Sales Manager based in either Denver or Phoenix.The internal title for this role is Business Development Representative.

  As the Territory Sales Manager, you will be successful in this role whenutilize your sales experience, in medical device or specialty pharm to buildand expand on the Acoustics implant product line to benefit individuals withhearing loss. In this role you will be responsible to support surgical andclinical cases and demonstrate your business sales and training acumen. Yourability to create, manage and maintain strong relationships withprofessional providers, to include surgeons, audiologists, hospitals andclinics, is critical to the success of the role. Your strong learningagility enables your development of knowledge across Cochlear's productportfolio. You will work collaboratively with colleagues in your market, aswell as cross-functionally with other corporate teams, to create businessplans designed to grow new and existing accounts.

  Key Responsibilities

  Sales Acumen - prospecting for opportunities with new and existing customerswith focus on the Acoustics product portfolio. You will demonstrate successfulrelationship building with surgical partners and demonstrate credibility withkey accounts.Business Acumen - demonstrating in-depth knowledge of sales reports,forecast templates, and SGA reports for planning purposes. You will utilizeall aspects of business acumen tools (Miller Heiman, Salesforce,contracting, etc.).Clinical Support - demonstrating potential to provide clinical expertise toCochlear professional customers by applying knowledge gained through clinicaland product training, such as candidacy criteria, test batteries,fitting software proficiency with Custom Sound (CI) and Smart Sound (Baha).Surgical Support - maintaining an in-depth product knowledge of both CI andBaha internal product offerings in order to effectively sell and positionCochlear product features and brand benefits. Demonstrated ability to sell ina surgical environment.Key RequirementsTo add value to Cochlear in this role you'll be able to demonstrate thefollowing knowledge, skills and abilities in your application and atinterview:

  Bachelor's degree required2 years of Medical Device Sales experience, specialty Pharma experienceand/or Certificate of Clinical Competency or Hearing Healthcare industryexperience.2 years of experience in sales planning, carrying a revenue number,budgeting and/or forecasting.Demonstrated prioritization and organization skills. Strong communicationand interpersonal skills. Must have highly effective presentation skills aswell.Ability to travel as needed for training and territory support, likely upto 60% of the time.Please note that the internal title for this role is Business DevelopmentRepresentative.Total Rewards

  Pay Range in the United States: $85,000 - $95,000 base salary pluscommission. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, andlocatiBenefit package includes medical, dental, vision, li e and disabilityinsurance as well as 401(K) matching with immediate vesting, Paid TimeOff, tuition reimbursement, maternity and paternity leave, EmployeeStock Purchase Plan and pet insurance.In alignment with our organizational principle of providing a safe workenvironment, employees of Cochlear are required to be fully vaccinatedagainst COVID-19.
