TheEdge Territory Manager works on behalf of the distributor to bring brandawareness and product education to Distributors in order to providepull-through sales for dealers. The Territory Manager works alongsidedistributor Account Managers to ensure all opportunities for educationand product specifications are captured. This role supports the IL andWI areas. Duties Include: * Be the product and technical expert on allaspects of Edge specialty products * Build and maintain relationshipsthroughout the sales chain, specifically with retail lumber yards andtheir customer base; including installers, active builders andarchitects. * Establish product knowledge sessions with retailers andcontractors and participate in various contractor events. * Engagecontractors in a professional manner on various social media platformsto discuss working with Edge products * Ensure Dealers participate inEdge promotions and make sure they upload supporting documentationaccordingly * Work with dealers to gather sales data for any Edgeproduct programs * Maintain and utilize HubSpot CRM platform forcontacts, leads and opportunities Knowledge: * Preferred bachelor\'sdegree or equivalent work experience in a related area * Minimum 5years of experience in building material sales, candidate must havestrong dealer relationships (lumber yards or building materials...) *Working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, Outlook andother software for business applications * Understanding ofpre-finished wood products, primer, paint and stainapplication/techniques. Skills and abilities: * Proficiency in the useof the English language in reading, writing, and speaking * Ability tosuccessfully interact with all organizational levels and the public *Demonstrated proficiency to manage multiple tasks, to set priorities,and to meet deadlines * Demonstrate proficiency in general telephoneand office etiquette and legible handwriting * Ability to comprehendand follow written and oral instructions * Demonstrated ability to bemobile in the work environment * Demonstrate ability to develop andmaintain strong customer relationships * Ability to apply business andlumber math * Travel...
