This is a role wellsuited to an ambitious professional, looking for the next step in their career.As a Territory ClinicalSpecialist, Ultrasound (Metro NY area) youhave responsibility for product demonstration and technical application to our ultrasoundproduct customers.
PositionOverview
The Territory Clinical Specialist is a registeredsonographer position with overall responsibility for providing sales supportduring product demonstrations as well as providing on-site technicalapplications training for Siemens Ultrasound Imaging systems at customermedical facilities. This role assists in the sales process through productdemonstrations and customer interactions to achieve regional and corporatesales/marketing goals.
Provides expert technical training and deliversexcellent customer service. Additionally, you will be responsible in assistingin the growth of our business through promotion of new products and upgrades.Maintains knowledge of current trends in ultrasound to support customers ascapabilities of products are developed and released. Supports company goals inall interactions with customers and employees.
This role reports to the Zone ClinicalDirector within the Healthineers Division.
Responsibilities
• Performs pre-sale demonstration for the Siemens ultrasoundproduct line
• Provide expert technical training while deliveringexcellent customer service
• Assists in the growth of our business through promotion ofnew products and upgrades
• Works closely with the sales team to optimize product andimage quality for the customer
Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience
• Typically requires an Associate’s degree along with aminimum of 4+ years of clinical experience as a general imaging sonographer andtypically some experience with commercial clinical.
• Qualified candidate must be registered through the RDMS ingeneral ultrasound imaging and typically other certifications.
• Must have excellent written, verbal, and presentationskills.
• Demonstrates a basic knowledge of computer skills.
• Willingness to travel extensively to support companygoals, up to 75% of the time. (Average 3 overnights per week).
Preferred Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience
• Individuals with additional certifications (i.e., RDCS orRVT) will be given preference.
• Past commercial clinical experience preferred, 2 or moreyears ideal.
• Demonstrates ability to fully understand and present thetechnology associated with each key platform, possesses an excellentunderstanding of ultrasound physics.
The pay range for this position is $105,000-$125,000 annually; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The annual incentive target is $15,000.
