   The Role

  Since its inception in 1992, SUSE has been at the forefront of technical innovation where change has been the only constant. An IPO transition in 2021 has brought a new pace of growth and evolution.

  The Territory manager is responsible for offering SUSE products' portfolio (Linux, Rancher, Neuvector) and services to a set of new & existing customers within Malaysia. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with an entrepreneurial drive, organized and new business focus with an solid understanding of the Malaysia market. They should be motivated by success and able to demonstrate a track record of sales attainment as well as network in Malaysia.

   Focus Areas Responsible for offering SUSE's products and services to a set of customers within your specified region.Focus on maintaining existing and building new sales relationships with a stellar list of accounts in his/her assigned territory.Invest time and effort in understanding a client's business needs in order to identify current and future product sales opportunities.Generate revenues through the sale of new licenses, maintenance and professional services.Develop incremental revenues by leveraging new and existing business relationships with selected regional channel partner organizations. Preferred Experience & Skills Solid experience in field sales experience, preferably enterprise-class software and services into IT departments.Experience in structuring license transactions of varying size and scope.Business-level understanding of IT server environments including Linux, Cloud, Container Management & SecurityThorough understanding of the effort required to build and progress sales pipeline through to closure.Excellent verbal and non-verbal communication skills, and good command of English.Exemplary work ethic with a proven and verifiable track record of meeting and exceeding revenue quota in a field sales role.A high-level of self-motivation, commitment and activity to attain corporate and personal goals.University degree or equivalent job experience.Team player with a positive attitude. Personal Attributes Proactive and self-motivated with a strong drive for results.Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively.Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.Adaptability and flexibility in a dynamic sales environment.Effective communication and presentation skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Strong organizational and time management skills. Measures Achieve new End User bookings targets each quarter.Consistent development of quality, new pipeline (Min. 3x target). Min outbound calls/activity logged in SFDC each week to drive new business pipeline What we offer
