About the role
As Tender & Customer Leader you will be responsible for supporting the entire end-to-end sales cycle, from pre-tender engagement activity to customer care post-tender.
You will work closely with Account Managers, Commercial Operations and Marketing and it is a key role in providing reliable support and insights for the Italian Leadership Team to take effective decisions and spot-offers/contracts opportunities.
You will focus on providing expertise to best support tender strategy full cycle management including support on tender prioritization, bidding strategy, execution, and performance tracking till Customer Service efficiency.

Main responsibilities will include:
Build and Implement a New Role:Define and operationalize a new role bridging external Customer Service and Commercial Operation.Streamline Regional Public Tender Process:Ensure a flawless end-to-end process for regional public tenders in Italy, covering preparation, market strategy, solutions design, and bid submission.Country-Level Pricing Support:Support pricing approvals and recommend changes, ensuring alignment with tender and contract pricing strategies.Tender Mapping and Segmentation:Supervise and maintain a comprehensive map of upcoming local and regional tenders in Italy, facilitating efficient segmentation and prioritization.Drive Pre-Tender Engagement Innovation:Contribute to planning pre-tender activities, emphasizing innovation beyond price and promoting standard processes in tender frameworks.Optimize Tender Execution and Analysis:Supervise tender execution, perform structured simulations, and provide insights for winning prices. Drive innovations in tender and contract management, collaborating with Commercial Operation, Legal, and Marketing.
About you
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field is required.3 years or more of Tender Management, Customer Service and Pricing.5 years of pharmaceutical or medical device-related industry/organization experience.Proficient spoken and written English, Spanish proficiency is an asset.Good knowledge of tender systems (archetypes) in Italian Regional markets.Good understanding of EU/Italian public procurement and competition law.Salesforce, AS400, SAP expertise, Italian Regional Public Tenders database expertise (ex. SINTEL, START, etc.).
