About Temporary Registered Nurse (RN)

　　The temporary registered nurse will work collaboratively with physicians, nurse practitioners and other members of Syracuse University’s Barnes Center at the Arch Health Care team to provide comprehensive clinical care for students’ illnesses, injuries, immunizations, and health education needs. Commonly performed clinical duties include obtaining initial vital signs and patient histories, medication administration and injection, specimen collection, telephone and in-person triage, and health education. In addition to the clinical duties, laboratory responsibilities include phlebotomy, specimen collection, and point-of-care testing. The RN will be a temporary position for the Fall 2022 semester and potentially the Spring 2023 semester reporting directly to the Nurse Manager.
