These services include site acquisition, design, and construction, to full operations, maintenance, and deconstruction.

  Great opportunity to join with our Telecom in the Northern California market as a Project Controls Lead. This is a remote position but travel may be required to Jacobs markets throughout the US.

  Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  Ensures the integrity of the project budget through approved scope changes, fiscal changes and contingency reallocations

  Reviews and approves Earned Revenue Determination Data, Proposal Financial Summaries, Project Financial Status Reports, and Charge for Project Working Capital calculations for assigned projects.

  Plans staffing needs for assigned projects.

  Prepares, coordinates, and directs Project Controls presentations to Jacobs and client management, as required.

  Participates in the development and training of assigned personnel and in the implementation of on-the-job training programs.

  Directs project control activities. Develops, interprets, and executes policy, objectives, and standards applicable to cost and schedule control and analysis activities.

  Prepares the Project Controls plan for assigned projects.

  Provides technical and operational direction to assigned personnel

  Verifies overhead charges and their distribution

  Flags significant projected overruns or underruns

  Reviews subcontractor bids for conformity to contract requirements

  Examines estimates of material, equipment services, production costs, performance requirements, and delivery schedules to ensure accuracy and completeness

Salary offer is geographic dependent.

  Salary offer is geographic dependent and based on experience with a range of $85,000-$125,000 annually.

  Here’s what you’ll need :

  Qualifications - External

  6 years of experience required, BA or BS in Engineering, Mathematics, Accounting or related field of expertise preferred

  Proficient in Microsoft Excel & Access is required

  Microsoft Project experience is preferred

  Previous experience in large EPC environment preferred

  Experience in Telecommunications infrastructure required

  Local candidates preferred.

  Must be US Citizen or eligible to work for any US Employer without visa sponsorship.

  Essential Functions: Intermittent sitting, walking, standing, bending, squatting, climbing, kneeling, twisting, and lifting to 20 pounds. Hand manipulation is required for grasping, pushing and pulling, and fine manipulation. Right and/or left hands utilized. Need to reach and/or work above the shoulder, as well as below the shoulder for same.
