About the Position
Invenergy is a growth-oriented company that continues to expand itsdevelopment of renewable energy sites. Invenergy seeks a TechnologyInfrastructure Program Manager to be responsible for managing thetechnology program delivery of new generation sites. The TechnologyInfrastructure Program Manager will be responsible for leading thislarge-scale program that includes a significant number of generationsites (both substations and Operations & Management sites). This roleentails managing the overall program and some individual projects, andwill significantly contribute to IT program and project managementprocesses, metrics, and reporting.
Responsibilities:
Drive large, complex, cross-functional program ensuring coordinationof shared resources, common activities, and other dependenciesacross the project portfolio.Establish common processes, templates, tools, and metrics thatenable transparent project management and reporting.Establish program governance processes that enable timely decisionmaking, issue escalation, and resolution.Identify, monitor, and mitigate program & project risks and assessimpact to the overall program.Plan and lead program and project planning sessions.Develop & maintain high-level milestone and resource plans usingcurrent program status, pipeline information, historicalinformation, and other available data.Identify and handle dependencies between resources and projects toensure program outcomes align with stakeholder expectations.Drive projects and activities to achieve measurable outcomes bymanaging schedule, resource, scope, deliverables, budget, risk,issue, dependency, vendor relationship and communications.Manage, coach, and develop other project managers.Required Skills:
Technology project and program management experience with on-premisehardware and infrastructure projects.Project management skills: create and execute project plans,proactively manage risks/issues, maintain compliance with projectmanagement processes, an eye for detail, independently maintainproject documentation, drive follow-up on open actions etc.Excellent oral and written communication skills: Identifiesopportunities or problems and acts quickly and decisively to respondto the situation. Ability to drive productive conversations and teammeetings. Active listening skills.Excellent People skills: a combination of skills including anability to ask penetrating questions, detect unstated assumptionsand resolve conflict, be able to work with cross-functional teams.Strong team player, able to foster teamwork, collaboration and apositive working environment to the project team.Analytical skills: ability to perceive and analyze problems, developalternatives and recommend sound decisions.Solve Problems: Assess problem situations to identify causes, gatherand process relevant information, generate possible solutions, andmake recommendations and/or resolve the problem.Strong leadership, oral and written communication, and presentationskills to a variety of stakeholders.Ability to work in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment.Ability to adapt quickly to new and changing business and technicalenvironments.Adept at articulating technical implications to businessusers/stakeholders.Track record of managing large program and concurrent multipleprojects.Self-starter with the ability to multi-task and juggle competingdemands.A history of mentoring and/or teaching others around work plandevelopment, progress tracking, time tracking, status reporting, andrisk management.High degree of professionalism and integrity.Required Qualifications:
Bachelor\'s degree.8+ years of project management experience with at least 5 years in asenior project management or program management role.Experience, familiarity, and exposure to providing enterprise IThardware infrastructure to new construction and/or existing sites.Experience utilizing Agile, Waterfall, and a blend of bothmethodologies.Adept at usage of various tools such as Microsoft Excel, Visio,PowerPoint, and Project.Experience with industry standard project management tools.Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with greenfield data center build outs.
PMP or equivalent certification preferred, or other relevantcertification/experience.
Experience in the energy or constr
