JOB SUMMARY
The Technology Asset and Inventory Coordinator will oversee lifecycle management of physical and digital technology and construction assets and software. They will contribute to the implementation of new asset inventory and tracking solutions for all assets and will contribute to ongoing improvements and customizations. They will coordinate and execute asset calibration, configuration, and software re-reprovisioning of various platforms and devices.
The Technology Asset and Inventory Coordinator is a proactive professional who can work efficiently both from the home office and warehouse / office space in Atlanta, GA. High software and technology aptitude, the ability to adapt and learn quickly and effective communication will be crucial in successfully supporting office and project stakeholders.
The Technology Asset and Inventory Coordinator will rely on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. This person will work under immediate supervision.
The Technology Asset and Inventory Coordinator will communicate and operate in line with organizational goals and values, as well as departmental objectives.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
TECHNOLOGY PHYSICAL AND DIGITAL ASSET LOGISTICS (30%)
Daily Asset Inventory organization, and management
Receiving
Picking
Packing and consolidation of assets
Shipping coordination
Warranty returns
Calibration and replacement internal tracking and reporting
Coordination with multiple stakeholders \u2013 technical, non-technical, internal, external
MATERIAL ORDERING (30%)
Fulfilling construction, software and other technology asset order requests
Routine vendor coordination and update of parts and pricing database
Comprehensive asset tracking across complete asset lifecycle
Coordination with multiple stakeholders \u2013 technical, non-technical, internal, external
TECHNOLOGY AND SOFTWARE MANAGEMENT (20%)
Contribute to initial software inventory and tracking solution implementation
Contribute to trial and implementation of software updates / customizations
Technology asset assessment, configuration and re-provisioning (e.g. PCs, laptops, tablets, mobile phones, programmable logic controllers)
Software license management
PROCESS IMPROVEMENT (20%)
Contribute to development of process workflows and identifying areas for improvement and optimization
Preparing weekly updates to senior staff on asset tracking, inventory, challenges, lessons learned and recommendations
Routine coordination with technology vendors and distributors to achieve improved pricing
Completion of Assigned Tasks and Deliverables on Time and on Budget
Performs Other Related Duties as Assigned
Requirements
POSITION REQUIREMENTS (INTERMEDIATE LEVEL FOR ALL THE FOLLOWING UNLESS OTHERWISE NOTED)
Skilled in using digital and software asset inventory processes and tools
Skilled with multiple technology, software and hardware platforms and related re-provisioning processes
Skilled in using MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams)
Skilled in completing assignments accurately and with attention to detail
Skilled in typing with minimal errors
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
Ability to track equipment and materials and update inventory logs
Ability to maintain neat, orderly, complete documents and project files
Ability to work successfully in a remote environment thru effective communication and organizational skills, self-motivation, proactiveness and resourcefulness in a distraction free workspace
Ability to analyze and prepare documents, reports and correspondence
Ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written form (technical and non-technical information)
Ability to work successfully as a member of a team and independently with supervision
Ability to work under pressure and meet close deadlines
Organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and adapt to changing business requirements as necessary

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS
The position requires work in combination of office / warehouse space in Atlanta, GA and home office
Travel is defined as physically leaving home on behalf of business activities including but not limited to client sites, meetings with other employees, meeting for business development purposes, running errands on behalf of the business, attending industry conferences, etc.
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE
Minimum 3 years' experience with physical and digital asset logistics, ordering, receiving, stocking, picking, shipping and tracking using a variety of software tools and processes
