Summary

　　Provides clinical support by performing remote cardiac monitoring and while under the supervision of licensed personnel, coordinates non-clinical tasks including: maintaining the patient's chart, utilization of communication devices, ensuring accurate bed charging, performing patient call backs. Performs other duties as assigned.

　　Performs remote cardiac monitoring in a manner that ensures accurate and complete examination by complying with established procedures and policies.

　　Recognizes and reports abnormal patient data to appropriate licensed personnel accurately and promptly according to unit procedure.

　　Demonstrates collaboration and communication skills.

　　Facilitates patient/bed flow by utilizing admission, transfer, teletracking and discharge activities according to procedure.

　　Participates in ongoing educational activities.

　　Completes assigned goals.

　　Requirements, Preferences and Experience

　　Experience

　　Preferred: Previous experience as remote monitoring technician or with interpreting cardiac rhythms preferred.

　　Licensure, Registration, Certification

　　Minimum: BLS certification within 14 days of hire date
