　　Summary / Role PurposeAnsys is seeking a Senior Automations Engineer (DevOps) to be part of a rapidly growing team that's responsible for design, build and delivery of automation in a cloud-based environment. You will be working closely with Cloud Operations and DevOps engineers to deploy and manage automation processes and to ensure efficiency gains targets as set by the Cloud Operations Director. The role has a unique opportunity to also develop the standards and processes used by the team as we seek to grow the capability.

　　Key Duties and ResponsibilitiesExploring and implementing new ways to automate systems and processes, particularly from manual processes todayLead and work with DevOps engineers to install, maintain and troubleshoot control systems and various automation processesProgramming new automated components in Powershell, Bash, and mature languages such as Python or GoHighly proficient in Python Programming and PowerShell ScriptingAble to build solutions from the ground up, including architecture, deployment pipeline, and documentationAble to work with problem statements and generate complete solutions (I.e., Fluid & Dynamic Workplace)Candidate MUST have both a development background (Python/Go/Rust), but also solutions/systems architecture knowledgeCollaborating with other business units

　　Minimum Education/Certification Requirements and ExperienceBachelors Degree in Information Technology or Engineering discipline5+ years of hands-on experience in an automations/DevOps Role (SRE)Experience in reducing human interaction for defined processes

　　Runbook creation experienceExperience in automation within AWS, Azure, GCPFluent in PowerShellor Bash Scripting, and a mature language such as Python or GoSource/version control (Git)Excellent communication, troubleshooting, and analytical skills with a proactive approach to spotting problems, areas for improvement, and performance bottlenecksStrong problem-solving skillsExcellent attention to detailCreative thinking skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsStrong analytical skillsA desire to continually upgrade technical knowledge
