Job Description Summary
Reporting into the Cardiff Facility Manager, the incumbent will work in the Engineering Workshop in Cardiff, focused on the refurbishment, modification and testing of cryogenic equipment required for Air Products.
Full engagement in Team BSP (Safety) Activit
Attendance at Level II Sequential Safety Meetings
BSP Work Team daily and monthly tasks
Housekeeping control of the Workshop Equipment Refurbishment and Prepped Equipment areas
Processing of all Work Order equipment prep requests assigned to the Cardiff Workshop
Undertake welding, testing and refurbishment of pressure control modules and associated components on cryogenic tanks.
Fabrication and welding of steel framework for pipework supports.
Timely and accurately pick parts and equipment to replenish workbench Kanban and to ensure equipment preparation can be completed to meet customer demand dates.
Complete failure reports on equipment.
Timely and accurately preparation of Cryogenic Storage Tanks and subsequent pipework for customer orders
Ensure compliance in Online and Classroom training to all requisite and demonstrate understanding of fundamentals of cryogenic applications.
Assist with investigations as part of Returns/Complaints processes to identify common failure modes of equipment or to highlight customer errors in use of equipment
Contribute to Continuous Improvement Events within the department
Assist with Facility Preventative Maintenance tasks are requested by the Workshop Manager
