Job Description

We are seeking a highly detailed Technical Writer to digitize 200 different preventative maintenance forms. You will be responsible for converting various maintenance documents into a standardized format for our internal system, ensuring that all forms are easily accessible and consistent.

Responsibilities

Digitize 200 different preventative maintenance forms.

Manually move individual forms into a maintenance format for our internal system.

Ensure all documents are housed in one place.

Handle documents that may contain 30-60 steps with extreme attention to detail.

Copy/paste steps as necessary while maintaining accuracy.

Bring in assets or vehicles to perform maintenance tasks such as oil changes, inspections, tire changes, etc.

Pull the appropriate document from SharePoint, print it out, fill it out, and file it as needed.

Essential Skills

Technical writing

Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)

Microsoft Word

Microsoft Excel

High proficiency in SharePoint

2-3 years of prior experience in technical writing, policy writing, or SOP writing

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Extreme attention to detail

Additional Skills Qualifications

High School Diploma required

Bachelor's Degree in Communications preferred

Work Environment

This role requires you to work onsite within an office environment. You will be using technologies such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and SharePoint to perform your duties. The work environment is structured to support detailed and focused work, ensuring that all preventative maintenance forms are accurately digitized and maintained.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $45.00/hr.
