  Job Description:

  The Technical Trainer/CDL Driver role exists to develop, organize and deliver technical training programs and related materials in support of customers and company employees. Works with customer and functional organization to establish course content and objectives. Prepares lesson plans from engineering documentation, field service requirements or software documentation. Ensure course material reflects current product features. Instructs participants in both classroom lectures and laboratory sessions. Follows up to determine applicability of course material. Provides support with movement of mobile training centers, product installation and staging.

  Essential Functions:

  Have current Class A CDL with Medical card.

  Ability to work extended hours.

  Knowledge of ELD systems and hours of service for DOT regulations.

  Coordinate with team and client project schedules to ensure project completion and customer satisfaction.

  Proficient working knowledge and understanding of training programs, instructional design and delivery methods.

  Provide support with product deliveries and relocations.

  Ability to lift and pull up-to 50lbs.

  Up to, but not limited to 75% travel to global locations. Travel may be required with less than 24 hours’ notice.

  Qualifications:

  Requires Class A CDL with current medical card.

  High School Diploma or equivalent, and six (6) years of prior related experience.

  One-year commercial driving along with training background.

  Preferred Additional Skills:

  Microsoft office, teams, and PowerPoint

  Knowledge with L3Harris Simulators.

  In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role is $52,000 to 60,000. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location. L3Harris also offers a variety of benefits, including health and disability insurance, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, EAP, education assistance, parental leave, paid time off, and company-paid holidays. The specific programs and options available to an employee may vary depending on date of hire, schedule type, and the applicability of collective bargaining agreements.
