　　What type of work will you be doing? What assignments, requirements, or skills will you be performing on a regular basis?

　　Your goal is to plan and implement technical support solutions and projects to assist the plant in meeting KPI’s.

　　You will be an excellent communicator, as the role will often require you to work with many departments and external entities to accomplish goals.

　　Responsibilities:

　　Provide technical support to the product manufacturing team to meet production targets.

　　Design and manage process improvement projects.

　　Assist in product development/improvement projects.

　　Transfer of new products from other Abbott sites.

　　Participate in laboratory maintenance programs.

　　Identify and implement cost reductions.

　　Qualifications/experience:

　　A third level qualification in scientific and/or technical field is desired or relevant combination of education and experience.or

　　Relevant post-graduate qualificationwith

　　Two years’ experience in the development or support of diagnostic assays.

　　A strong communicator

　　What is the leadership like for this role?

　　This role reports to Elaine O’Doherty, one of our Technical Product Managers.

　　You will join Elaine’s team of 15 that includes Technical Product Team Leaders, Principal Scientists and Technical Support Specialists. Her leadership style focuses on collaboration, morale, and motivation.
