WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
As our Technical Strategist, you will primarily be responsible for leading and coordinating engineering’s research roadmap. This will involve both working with Strategic Marketing to identify future customer needs together with analyzing trends and technologies to identify the next generation of CPI products and full-service solutions.
You will have a direct impact on our Engineering team and the direction of the business with the following responsibilities:
Research markets and products from both CPI and competitors to identify areas where CPI can offer improved or new products.
Research relevant technology trends to identify new solutions for CPI’s future product portfolio.
Interact with CPI’s customers to define unmet and unarticulated needs,
Develop requirements for future CPI product and service stack to enable flexible customer solutions.
Identify potential 3rd party partners of specialized technology.
Work with product development teams to select appropriate technology.
Help architect and develop top level specifications for our next generation of products.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Qualifications and Requirements
Bachelor's degree in an Engineering discipline.
5+ years development or consultancy experience.
5+ years of system architecture and design.
Broad knowledge and interest in all areas of technology.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to travel 30-40%
