We are recruiting for a Technical Specialist who will bring a high level of expertise and guidance to the Development & Test organization to facilitate successful test system commissioning, ongoing improvements, and project execution.
What you will need:
You will have:
Minimum of 10 years' experience in electrified powertrain or rotating machinery testing or test cells, including the building of test equipment or machinesExperience in instrumentation selection, calibration, and troubleshootingExperience diagnosing electrical systems and automotive communicationsExperience in software programming environments and test control software, such as LabVIEW, Veristand, or Matlab/SimulinkExperience in electrical machine testing and data acquisition, including power analyzersExperience in the definition and refinement of DVP's, system functions and failure modes for powertrain and/or electromechanical systems.Desired experience in:

You will be:
Leading the installation and commissioning of DSD's test facilities as needed for various projects and investmentsDeveloping innovative solutions and technologies to keep DSD at the cutting edge for powertrain development and test capabilitiesInterfacing with customers before and during project execution to provide technical guidance and expertise in support of the test engineers and techniciansSupporting continuous improvement of test software, instrumentation, procedures to improve project delivery, execution and qualityInteracting with DSD cross-functional and global colleagues to promote and share best practices and expertise at all levelsMaintaining a clean and safe working environment for yourself and the other engineers and technicians at DSDGeneral Responsibilities
