The Technical Service Representative I is responsible forproviding technical assistance and authorizing warranty repairs to ourauthorized dealer network under general supervision with some guidancefrom leadership and higher level TSRs. The Technical ServicerRepresentative will assist customers with questions, requests, andissues and effectively research, document, track and monitor customers\'requests and issues to ensure timely resolution. Essential Duties andResponsibilities: Answer inbound calls and respond to emails from DealerTechnicians and answers standard questions over the phone Provideaccurate, timely, and descriptive notes during calls Uses existingprocedures to solve problems Instruct new dealer technicians how tonavigate Generac\'s warranty systems and submit claims electronicallyTroubleshoot with the dealer technician to resolve basic issues with theproduct in the field Gather and prepare documentation regarding productfailure Minimal Qualifications: Associates Degree or equivalentexperience in relevant technical field Preferred Qualifications:Bachelor\'s Degree Bilingual Spanish Knowledge: Basic understanding ofbasic mechanical and electrical (AC/DC) fundamental theory ExcellentCustomer Service skills Ability to communicate verbally and in writingin a professional manner Knowledge of engine maintenance andtroubleshooting of gensets Ability to remain calm in high-stresssituations Working knowledge of Microsoft office suit Ability toeffectively communicate technical concepts, while taking intoconsideration the varying degrees of customers\' technical experienceBasic Problem-solving skills Physical demands: While performing theduties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear;and use hands to manipulate objects or controls.
