Description
As a Technical Project Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and ensuring the successful completion of projects, while maintaining open and effective communication with the General Contractor (GC). The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented team player will handle all the resources and coordination from a technical standpoint. You must set and achieve objectives, ensure both top quality and control of the project, handle client and vendor interaction, and act as the subject expert. Apply today!
Key Responsibilities:
Project Planning and Scheduling:
Develop comprehensive project work schedules, timelines, and milestones.
Coordinate and manage project resources, including personnel, subcontractors, and equipment.
Communication:
Maintain open and effective communication channels with the General Contractor, project stakeholders, and team members.
Provide regular project updates and reports to stakeholders.
Address any issues, changes, or concerns promptly and proactively.
Attention to Detail:
Conduct thorough project assessments and risk analysis.
Ensure all project documentation, permits, and approvals are in order.
Monitor project progress and quality, making adjustments as necessary.
Budget Management:
Manage project budgets and expenditures.
Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement strategies to stay within budget.
Team Leadership:
Lead project personnel and subcontractors effectively.
Foster a collaborative and productive work environment.
Set clear expectations and provide guidance to team members.
Quality Assurance:
Ensure that project deliverables meet high-quality standards.
Conduct inspections and quality checks throughout the project lifecycle.
Problem Solving:
Identify and resolve project-related issues and challenges.
Implement corrective actions as needed to keep projects on track.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in a related field (preferred).
3+ years of proven experience in project management.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
Proficiency in project management software and tools.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
PMP or related certification (a plus).
