Digital Security and Resilience (DSR) is looking for a Technical Program Manager II to join our Federal Program Office in driving a portfolio of security capability implementation projects aimed at protecting the Microsoft Federal cloud operating environment.
In this role, you will lead a series of projects to mature security capabilities and processes to provide better user-experience while meeting government standards and regulations. You will be empowered to lead and work across the Microsoft Digital organization and across the company to drive product improvements that enhance and optimize how we protect the Microsoft operating environment and drive broad adoption. Along the way, you will be a trusted voice who shares your knowledge about securing the platform to help our customers deliver on their commitments to the Federal Government.

• Provide input in both technical and business/government terms with descriptive requirements to ensure the value of the project is realized
• Establish and sustain collaborative relationships with other lead Program Manager’s, architects, and engineers to drive ongoing improvements to user-experience
• Drive unified messages to impacted stakeholders
• Provide actionable feedback to our product feature teams to drive improvements into future products releases

Qualifications
Required/Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree AND 2+ years experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development
o OR equivalent experience.
1+ year(s) experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.
2+ years of experience with cloud technologies, security and compliance
Other Requirements
Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:
Citizenship & Citizenship Verification: This position requires verification of U.S citizenship due to citizenship-based legal restrictions. Specifically, this position supports United States federal, state, and/or local United States government agency customers and is subject to certain citizenship-based restrictions where required or permitted by applicable law. To meet this legal requirement, citizenship will be verified via a valid passport, or other approved documents, or verified US government clearance.
Microsoft Cloud Background Check. This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience across Project Management Methodologies (Agile, PMI/PMBOK, SDL, etc.)
Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project management tools, such as ADO, ServiceNow, Jira.
Experience working in technology, defense, aerospace, or related industries.
Knowledge of Federal standards and regulations (i.e. NIST 800.53, 800.171x, CMMC, FAR, DFARS, etc.) and how respective requirements translate into technical and process controls.
Familiarity with technical solutions, engineering practices, and the security and engineering lifecycle.
Technical Program Management IC3 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $94,300 - $182,600 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $120,900 - $198,600 per year.
