We are looking for a Technical Program Manager to drive complex programs for capacity management within our datacenters across the globe. The successful candidate will be chartered with delivering critical business outcomes for the business units that span 70+ service engineering teams. Capacity management is a central function that partners closely with Microsoft Entra service engineering teams, Capacity Supply Chain & Provisioning, COGS management, as well as the core services buildout and automation teams. Programs you own improve our engineering processes – you will make it better to be an engineer at Microsoft Entra. You will make it more efficient to operate hyperscale infrastructure running on millions of cloud instances globally. Responsibilities
Demonstrate ability to drive complex programs across functions/teamsto track against business objectives and key results.

Leads standardization of processes, tools, and drives continuous improvement to optimizeproductivity.
Acts as a technical advisor to educate and evangelize the group of services/features they work on with customers, soliciting feedback and understanding their experiences.
With minimal guidance, utilizes direction and strategy from leadership to execute plans that shift current priorities to new organizational initiatives and objectives, and influences others to change behavior accordingly.
Ability to dive deep into data to identify irregularities, miscommunications across teams and other potential problems or blockers to program success.
Analytics and critical thinking accompanied with data modeling skills (PowerBI/Excel).
Passion for technology and curious to further learn the how and why behind the numbers.
Possess technical acumen and an ability to translate what is really needed into clear requirements. You are in the details and you are obsessed about the experience people have interacting with tools and processes.
Professional experience working in business and operational roles and contributing to a portfolio of programsincluding the project plan, timelines, milestones, financial management, performance metrics and/or resources needs for the programs.
Firsthand professional experience through Applied Science, Data Science or Software Engineering roles.
Prior experience working in the Identity and/or Security technology domains.
Qualifications
Required/Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree AND 2+ years experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product developmento OR equivalent experience.
1+ year(s) experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.Other Requirements:
Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
Additional or Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree AND 4+ years experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product developmento OR equivalent experience.
4+ years experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.
1+ year(s) experience reading and/or writing code (e.g., sample documentation, product demos).
Technical Program Management IC3 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $94,300 - $182,600 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $120,900 - $198,600 per year.
