Ultrasound Tech Specialist
Position Summary:
Under general supervision of Manager, Chief Technologist (as applicable), and under the direction of a radiologist, can perform diagnostic ultrasound and vascular ultrasound procedures on infant, pediatric, adult and geriatric patients on designated areas of the body as requested by a physician.
Education/Experience:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Successful completion of an approved Ultrasonography program
Certification/License:
Basic Life Support (BLS); renewed bi-annually
Current American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS)
Patient Age Served:
Provides direct patient care to:
Neonates (under 1 month)
Pediatric (1 month to 12 years)
Adolescent (12-17 years)
Adult (18-64 years)
Geriatric (over 65 years)

Non-Exempt
