  Your Role:

  The Technical Engineering Manager will lead a team that will ensure the safe and efficient operation of all production equipment as well as support and improve production processes, safety initiatives, capital improvement projects, and production maintenance activities.   You will have the opportunity to:

  Lead an organization consisting of engineers, technicians, and maintenance personnel.

  Intentionally develop team members to create a high performing team.

  Create a vision and strategy for the department to enable moving the business forward.

  Ensure department’s adherence to the Reynolds safety programs.

  Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement capital projects for new product introductions, automation projects, and capacity expansions.

  Use expertise in engineering to develop solutions to safety, quality, and production problems.

  Develop innovative ways to improve OEE including reducing downtime and scrap.

  Manage the departmental capital & expense budgets.

  Establish and maintain maintenance training programs.

  Utilize analytics to drive decision making processes and to develop corrective actions.

  Provide leadership and assistance for product development activities.

  Confirm project variables i.e. run speeds, scrap rates etc., and confirm that established quality parameters have been achieved.

  Ultimately, you will lead a team of talented engineers, technicians, and maintenance personnel and will use your problem-solving skills to provide direction to drive continuous improvement.   We need you to have:

  BS Degree in a technical field such as Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering

  6-10+ years of experience leading an Engineering department.

  High performing leader capable of motivating and developing team members.

  Must be team oriented with the ability to work on high collaboration and performance teams.

  Self-Motivated - produce successful programs with minimal direction.

  Team player able to drive small and large groups of professionals to a common goal.

  Manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-moving environment.

  Dissect difficult challenges, provide leadership and develop feasible solutions.

  Using manufacturing technologies and innovative approaches.

  Ability to work a flexible schedule during key business deadlines.

  Icing on the cake:

  MBA or other advanced degree a plus.

  Experience in a Lean manufacturing environment and a Lean/Six Sigma certification.
