About Technical Engineer - Inside Sales

  The Global Energy Infrastructure Solutions (GEIS) division is part of Eaton's global electrical sector and has over 100 years of experience in enhancing efficiency, safety and reliability for our customers.   The CEAG product line is a market leading range including offering solutions for lighting, process control and power distribution and control.   As Technical Engineer- Inside Sales , you are responsible for managing technical- and project inquiries, mostly of Ex distribution panels/systems (ETO) and configured Control and Apparatus products, as well as general support of Customer Support, Sales and Projects/ETO teams.

  What you'll do:

  Daily tasks will include quotation generation, support of technical issues both internal personnel and external customers, order entry in SAP, coordination/follow-up of deliveries from our factories and ongoing order management and customer support.

  technical quotations in coordination with the Sales, PLM, ETO and Projects teams technical product support both internal and external order management.

  This position will have a high level of coordination with the CEAG Sales team and the global Projects team with support from the PLMs and ETO teams.

  Qualifications:

  Certificate in Electrical engineering or comparable Electrical education required. Degree in Engineering preferred, proven relevant experience desirable but not mandatory.Minimum of five years commercial experience with EX Control and Apparatus products will be a major help to this role.Ability to communicate in English, B1-B2 level

  Skills:

  It is important that the person holding this position will be technically competent, ideally within power distribution and control for hazardous area environment. Able to learn more technical details of CEAG product lines and support both internally and externally will be important.Possess a balanced mindset to both short and long term needs of the businessAble to execute upon strategic commercial objectives Results orientated with a collaborative culture/approach Effective communicator at all levels Able to analyse complex scenarios and produce realistic and simplified solutionsValues and places ethical and safe behavior at the heart of all decisions.
