　　Mission and R&R

　　Directly manage a multi-disciplinary R&D team

　　Recruit, train, and manage a highly integrated, synergetic, and independent local R&D extension team

　　Lead a team of experts in the domains of technology, system, algorithm, SW, and application technology

　　Manage the team and its tasks and priorities, develop the skills and well-being of the team members

　　Build partnership with the local AMAT account and the PDC R&Ddomain experts

　　Installed fleet – maintain tools high performance

　　Troubleshoot complicated HW, SW and algorithm issues, the highest technical level of escalation on site

　　Expert technical support for our application and customer engineers

　　Constantly track, assess and improve our tools’ performance

　　NPI – Accelerate new product penetration

　　Run on-site C&F utilizing customer data and “real-life” environment

　　Pre-sale tech / early proof of NPI tool capabilities (Simulations, on-tool verification using open platforms)

　　Research performance limiters on real customer tools & layers, e.g. matching and grey-level error budget

　　Own development for selected new features (algorithm, SW, HW)

　　Find solutions to customer HVP’s

　　Enhance customer partnership while working closely with the account

　　Identify and execute joint dev projects with customers on HVP’s

　　Participate in PDC R&D activities

　　CI (competitor technology and solutions, gaps, roadmap)

　　Desired Background and skill set

　　Experience in the semiconductor industry

　　Experience in SEMI FAB, preferably in TSMC

　　Knowledge of up-to-date state of the art logic processes, experience with inspection and metrology needs and solutions

　　Experience in an SEMI capital equipment company

　　R&D experience in the relevant domains

　　Managerial experience

　　Experience as manager of small to medium technological teams, experience in a global environment an advantage

　　Management of multidisciplinary teams, preferably with multiple interfaces – particularly SEMI customers

　　Lead a team of experts in the domains of technology, system, algorithm, SW, and application technology
