　　Position Summary(Basic Job Function)

　　This is a temporary or an on-call position. Provides technical support. Responsibilities may include computer programming or operations; research support; medical patient care; technical equipment maintenance, repair, fabrication or operation; or other technical support functions.

　　Unit Position Summary

　　This position will support the team providing the Technical Assistance Collaborative outreach to communities.

　　The Technical Assistance Collaborative (TAC) exists to establish a technical support system wherein experts across MSU, U-M, and Wayne State provide communities with timely and unbiased community assessments, analysis with evidence-based recommendations, consultation on allowable uses of settlement funds, implementation support, and evaluation of efforts to prevent and treat opioid use concerns.

　　The person who fills this position will support MSU-TAC teams by analyzing quantitative and qualitative data, developing data visualizations, and drafting community assessment reports. This person will work under the supervision of the MSU-TAC team leads to conduct the work.

　　Desired Qualifications

　　Qualified individuals will have a research-focused graduate degree (in social science, public health, or epidemiology), extensive experience with scientific writing, and expertise in using statistical software programs and qualitative analysis software.
