Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Tech Support Analyst II in GAHANNA, Ohio. The role primarily involves technical troubleshooting, end-user support, installation and configuration of software, and collaboration with vendors. You will be part of an industry that heavily relies on technology and technical expertise.
Responsibilities:
• Install, configure, and provide support for Microsoft end-user equipment, ensuring the smooth operation of various Windows operating systems and compatible applications.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to desktops, laptops, servers, networking, and software, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
• Conduct virus/malware removal and maintain proficiency in anti-virus software to protect company's digital assets.
• Provide support for end-user peripherals, including desk phones and mobile devices, ensuring seamless communication within the organization.
• Assist with on-boarding and off-boarding processes for employees, ensuring a smooth transition for incoming and outgoing staff.
• Manage the inventory of IT equipment and software, ensuring adequate resources for all employees.
• Collaborate with vendors to address technical issues and implement solutions.
• Participate in on-call rotation to provide round-the-clock technical support. Requirements • Possess a minimum of 3 years of experience in a Tech Support Analyst role or similar IT support roles.
• Proficiency in Windows OS and computer hardware is essential.
• Demonstrated knowledge of LAN (Local Area Network) and WAN (Wide Area Network).
• Strong problem-solving abilities and excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Proven ability to provide exceptional customer service and handle customer inquiries professionally.
• Must have a strong understanding of IT principles and an ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to a varied audience.
• Strong sense of discretion and professionalism.
• Willingness to keep up-to-date with the latest technologies and industry trends.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
