　　Tiktok location based product's vision is enabling users to discover the real world, no matter a hidden gem restaurant nearby or a delightful hotel to spend vacation that thousands miles away.

　　Responsibilities:

　　- Lead the POI(point-of- interest) database development, including schema design and architecture.

　　- Play a key role in strategic partnerships with third parties and evaluate inhouse-build vs. buy trade-offs to build unique location discovery experiences.

　　- Dive deep into Tiktok's location based products and users' needs in order to continuously improve the accuracy and coverage of the POI database

　　- Work with a cross-function team to understand requirements and develop solutions that meet business needs.

　　Qualifications

　　- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Geographics, or related field.

　　- 7+ years of experience in online maps related areas, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.

　　- Strong knowledge of the technical solution to indexing the real world and building sophisticated POI database

　　- Strong leadership and management skills, with experience managing and mentoring a team of engineers.

　　- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, and strategic thinking capability.

　　[For Pay Transparency] Compensation Description (annually)

　　The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $224000 - $410000 annually.

　　Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
