  Ads Platform and Interfaces teams build the best in class Advertiser experience. We are building AI assisted advertiser experiences, that makes our Advertiser journeys delightful.

  We are looking for strong software engineers and leaders who excel at business strategies, value product excellence, and build highly scalable software.

  Responsibilities:

  1. Lead the design, architecture, and development of the TikTok Ads Software, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance.

  2. Collaborate with product managers and cross-functional teams to define technical requirements and create efficient solutions.

  3. Mentor and guide junior engineers, conducting code reviews and providing constructive feedback to foster growth and development.

  4. Participate in the entire software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering and design to implementation and testing.

  5. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and technologies, and apply them to solve challenging technical problems.

  6. Lead by example, promoting a culture of excellence, innovation, and teamwork within the engineering department.

  Qualifications

  1. Bachelor's degree in computer science or related technical discipline

  2. 10+ years of experience in software engineering. Strong Computer Science fundamentals (algorithms, data structures, software design) and problem-solving skills

  3. Ability to think critically and formulate solutions in a clear and concise way

  4. Very strong teamwork skills (e.g. communication, ownership, empathy, honesty)

  5. Experience with Advertisement Technology is a plus, but not required

  6. Experience with UI technologies like React, Vue is a plus but not required.

  7. Having previous role managing a small team is a plus

  Job Information

  [For Pay Transparency] Compensation Description (annually)

  The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $224000 - $410000 annually.

  Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.

  We cover 100% premium coverage for employee medical insurance, approximately 75% premium coverage for dependents and offer a Health Savings Account(HSA) with a company match. As well as Dental, Vision, Short/Long term Disability, Basic Life, Voluntary Life and AD&D insurance plans. In addition to Flexible Spending Account(FSA) Options like Health Care, Limited Purpose and Dependent Care.

  Our time off and leave plans are: 10 paid holidays per year plus 17 days of Paid Personal Time Off (PPTO) (prorated upon hire and increased by tenure) and 10 paid sick days per year as well as 12 weeks of paid Parental leave and 8 weeks of paid Supplemental Disability.

  We also provide generous benefits like mental and emotional health benefits through our EAP and Lyra. A 401K company match, gym and cellphone service reimbursements. The Company reserves the right to modify or change these benefits programs at any time, with or without notice.
