Position Summary
In order to achieve objectives that contribute to the growth of the team, this job is responsible for monitoring and supervising the group of buyers and PO Admin in your scope. You will ensure that procedures and standards are continually improved. Based on the anticipated volume and accompanying workload, you will make sure that the right resources are distributed throughout your team. You will be in charge of training your team members and fostering a sense of teamwork. In parallel to act as first escalation point you will absorb the extra work load and depending to the capacity you could lead critical project. Your scope will be indirect, stock, subcontracting spends, and order processing.
Main Responsibilities
Managing the day-to-day activities of the team
Stake holders management mainly for stock shortage emergency
Developing and implementing a timeline to achieve targets
Develop team strengths and improve weaknesses
Lead buyer team and PO admin team
Track team performance and adherence to defined KPI`s to meet overall company targets
Streamline and optimize key processes
Perform buyer and PO Admin end of year assessment
Work closely with other department to enhance the most possible efficiency of your team
Foster and facilitate relation between PO Admin, Buyer, SCM PL and Project manager
Secure quality, efficiency and effectiveness of PO created by PO Admin
Analyse stock consumption in pro active way
Identify ways or efficiency by decreasing number of PO and actions with strategic team
Act actively to decrease overdue, AFI and quarantine rate for all buyer in your scope
Develop, monitor team ability to foster excellence expediting services and order processing
Absorb the extra work load of his team in case of PIC activity
Minimum Requirements
At least Bachelor’s degree in business administration, procurement or engineering, or similar from an accredited university or business school
At least 3 to 5 years of relevant work experience
Relevant experience in people management
Good understanding of business aviation environment
Solid knowledge of processes, procedures and concepts in functional area
In-depth knowledge of performance metrics
Good PC skills, especially MS Excel
Good knowledge on complex expediting /procurement process and order processing task
