About the Job:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Housekeeping Team Leader. The main duties and responsibilities of this role are:
To ensure the highest standards of cleanliness, maintenance and safety by conducting daily inspections of guest elevators, foyers, back areas and dry storage and chemical supply rooms.
Be responsible for the inventory of cleaning equipment and supplies and liaise with housekeeping administration for ordering and replacement when necessary.
To assist Assistant Housekeeping Managers in inspecting suites (Arrival, AM service and PM Service) whenever required and to record the check list.
To conduct performance reviews and appraisals for colleagues and set their IDP (Individual Development Plan).
To check the log book daily and ensure the follow ups are done in coordination with the team leader.
To prepare roster for HK Attendants for daily operation as per the business requirement.
To report incidents related to guest or colleagues during the shift to the management.
To monitor the expenses involved in the maintenance of cleaning supplies (chemicals and equipment).
To submit two annual reports - regarding the existing contractor/suppliers primarily focus on issues encountered or recommendation of innovative idea.
About You:
The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:
Minimum 2 years of experience as Housekeeping Team Leader in a 5-star hotel.
Proficient in English
Excel qualification would be an advantage.
