The sixth UGN facility in Monroe, Ohio, officially opened in September 2015. The state-of-the-art facility has more than 375 team members and supplies Honda Motor Co. with superior acoustic insulation, carpet, and underfloor technologies. In the fall of 2018, UGN expanded the Monroe plant by adding another 150,000 square feet to the $50 million, 232,500 square foot facility to supply Toyota and Subaru. The UGN Monroe facility has already distinguished itself to Honda for exceptional service. Every year, Honda recognizes suppliers who increase value to the customer by removing waste within the overall product and supply chain. The Monroe facility was presented with the award in November, 2016.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
Maintain regular attendance and punctuality. Other duties may be assigned.Confirm job order schedule with the supervisor.Directly monitor the correction of all mechanical problems and status of work assignments, supply of material, and machine operation when necessary to ensure the quality and quantity of the product.Confer with preceding shift coordinator for necessary production information.Conduct pre-shift meeting in order to assign daily job duties.Inform maintenance manager of major breakdowns during shift.Complete daily maintenance report, downtime reports, work orders and other required paperwork at end of shift.Relay department related information to supervisor gained from employees and firsthand observation.Gather supplies from storeroom as required.Lead repair, installation and maintenance activities or perform multi-craft functions.Interpret company policies to Team Members and enforce safety regulations.Performs activities of workers supervised.Assist other departments when necessary.Perform the functions of Maintenance Coordinator as needed.
Supervisory Responsibilities:Directly supervises Team Members in the Maintenance Department. Responsibilities include training employees; assigning and directing work; appraising performance;addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Mathematical SkillsAbility to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percentand to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Reasoning AbilityAbility to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables instandardized situations.
