　　Intertek are currently recruiting for a Team Leader to lead the Stoke Laboratory to ensure all results released are to the highest quality, to assist in departmental training requirements and records and deputise for the Laboratory Supervisor as required. The hours for this role Sunday-Wednesday 11am to 10pm.

　　Required skills and experience:

　　Previous experience in a Laboratory environment

　　Previous experience in a Leadership/Mentorship role

　　Basic computer literacy (Microsoft Office – Excel, Word, Email etc)

　　ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

　　Key activities:

　　Lead a group of technicians, monitor them and make sure they are deployed as lean. This will include undertaking all roles within the laboratory from sample receipt, sample prep, plating, pouring, sub culturing, reading, confirmation and laboratory quality checks (including Daily Calibrations), media prep and ensuring all laboratory areas and the site is kept clean, tidy and health and safety is maintained.

　　Assist with training and training records in accordance with SOP’s, HR and Training & Development Policies

　　Monitor equipment in line with the QMS and report any malfunctions to the Laboratory Supervisor/Operations Manager/Site Quality Officer.

　　Assist with any investigations to ensure they are completed with detail and effectively.

　　The Management Result approval and release of Out of Specification reports

　　Champion code of ethics and Intertek values to develop appropriately provide feedback/reports to management as required.

　　Overseeing of Quality Management Systems and ensure they Comply with Accreditation, Health and Safety and training requirements.
