The Position:
The Team Lead leads the team P2P 1st Level Support and is overall responsible for efficiently and effectively acting as main contact for global suppliers for all queries (e.g. chasing a payment) related to purchase orders and invoices. The role also requries overall responsible for processing queries of worldwide internal business partners from all areas, for coaching, assisting, and giving end-user trainings for Procure-to-Pay (P2P) systems, and processing support requests in an efficient and structured way as well as following up on them with the next service levels (in the RBSC) and the business partners.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Accountable for 1st Level business support.
Manages sub-team and monitors its performance in line with the underlying service level agreements as well as the defined quality and takes appropriate actions to meet agreed service levels.
Develops, trains and coaches the team and advocates and drives the BI culture.
Implements and runs standardized support-process in S2P 1st Level Support to guarantee that new countries can quickly be onboarded.
Is also responsible to coordinate/drive continuous improvement within the team P2P 1st Level Support and to coordinate/drive standardization/harmonization of support-related processes together with the other teams in RBSC P2P.
Interface Management for Procure-to-Pay 1st Level Support:
Identifies and communicates level of customer (=user) satisfaction.
Evaluates local training demand together with the heads Procurement and Accounts Payable and organizes and performs trainings for end-users/local trainers/key-users.
Coordinates collaboration between the sub-team (e.g. S2P Global Support Coordination & Administration, Procurement teams, Accounts Payable)
Collaborates in the definition of and agrees on the activity splits between the sub-team and all interfaces
Establishes the 1st level support for additional OPUs and functions and ensures smooth transition and service delivery by managing the team to prepare the go-live of new countries
Ensures that new processes/features are established within the sub-team.
Coaches P2P 1st Level Support responsibles in the Regional Business Shared Service Centers (RBSCs).
Requirements:
1-2 years experience in people leadership required; recognized as a leader
2-3 years experience in P2P related position
Experienced in an international environment Shared Service and Global exposure
Bachelor Degree in Business Information or Business Administration
Experienced in end-to-end P2P processes
Excellent system knowledge (SRM, SAP FI/MM, InvoiceWorkflow Tool)
English (fluent) and/or other languages required depending on the area of responsibility
Experienced in an international environment and Shared Service and Global exposure
Reliable, - Coaching skills.
Ability to grasp new topics quickly and to transport information/knowledge coherently to others.
Project experience;- Presentation skills.
Excellent knowledge of SAP SRM.
Experienced in SAP modules MM, FI and Invoicetrack.
