Instructors are appointed on a semester basis, dependent on the teaching needs of the School of Kinesiology. These positions are temporary, non-tenured, Academic Professional and Administrative (P&A) positions as a Teaching Specialist or Lecturer, paid on a per course basis. Typically, these appointments are made semester by semester and employment is contingent on the course meeting its enrollment target. This search will establish a "pool" of instructors. Applicants will be selected from that pool on an as-needed basis throughout the academic year. Applications may not be acknowledged, but will be reviewed when such openings occur throughout the academic year. Qualifications Required Qualifications A master's degree in a relevant field is required for an appointment as a Teaching Specialist. A doctoral or terminal degree is required for an appointment as a Lecturer.
