Description Are you looking for work as a Tax Preparer? A company in the Charlotte, North Carolina is looking to promptly fill a Tax Preparer position. Apply now through Robert Half. You will be responsible for the arrangement of simple and complex, individual and small business State and Federal tax returns. This is a long-term contract / temporary opportunity. 　　What you get to do every day

　　Keep in touch with clients to ensure necessary information/documents is up to date

　　Maintain other related duties and participate in special projects as assigned

　　Hand-operate transaction tax returns utilizing various methods (Paper, E File, EDI Upload) with various government agencies

　　Perform a total count and invoice for form preparation fees

　　Ensure appropriate data is entered into Tax software application

　　Manage incoming client calls to answer tax questions and set appointments Requirements - Ability to multitask, collaborate and communicate well with individuals of all backgrounds in a fast-paced environment

　　AA or BS/BA in Accounting or finance preferred

　　Can work independently with minimal supervision

　　Outstanding data entry skills

　　Excellent verbal, written, and social communication skills

　　Proficient with spreadsheets and databases

　　Proven knowledge of Federal Tax

　　Knowledge of Annual Tax

　　Strong familiarity with Complex Tax Return

　　Practical knowledge of Income Tax Return

　　Corporate Income Tax experience highly desired

　　Solid understanding of Tax Preparer

　　Well-founded grasp of Federal Tax Return

　　General familiarity with Income Tax Accounting

　　Consolidated Tax Return experience
