　　Robert Half is looking to fill a REMOTE role based in the Freeport, Maine area with a Tax Preparer. The Tax Preparer is responsible for fulfilling the State and Federal tax returns for individual and small business. 　　Uses ProConnect Software

　　How you will make an impact

　　Perform a final check and invoice for form preparation fees

　　Produce error free data into Tax software application

　　Handle clients with incoming calls to delegate tax questions and set appointments

　　Manually put together transaction tax returns utilizing various methods (Paper, E File, EDI Upload) with various government agencies

　　Correspond with clients to gather important information/documents

　　Balance other related duties and participate in special projects as assigned

　　Requirements - Accurate, swift, data entry abilities

　　AA or BS/BA in Accounting or finance preferred

　　Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision

　　1+ years preparing tax returns- Competent with spreadsheets and databases

　　Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)

　　Command of Form 1099

　　Comprehensive knowledge of Tax Preparation

　　Deep understanding of Tax Forms

　　Ability to multitask effectively
