Position Summary

　　MAG Aerospace is seeking a Mid-level Information System Security Officer (ISSO) who will support mission training exercises in Fallon, NV. This is an on site opportunity.As an Information System Security Officer, you will be responsible forensuring the security and integrity of our organization's informationsystems. You will install, configure, and maintain our local area network(LAN), data communications network, operating systems, and physicaland virtual servers. You will perform system monitoring and verify theintegrity and availability of hardware, network, and server resources andsystems. Additionally, you will review system and application logs andverify completion of scheduled jobs, including system backups.

　　Essential Duties and Responsibilities

　　Duties include, but not limited to:

　　Install, configure, and maintain local area network (LAN), data communications network, operating systems, and physical and virtual servers

　　Perform system monitoring and verify the integrity and availability of hardware, network, and server resources and systems

　　Review system and application logs and verify completion of scheduled jobs, including system backups

　　Analyze network and server resource consumption and control user access

　　Install and upgrade software and maintain software licenses

　　Assist in network modeling, analysis, planning, and coordination between network and data communications hardware and software

　　Requirements

　　Minimum Requirements

　　5 years of experience as ISSM or ISSO in a DoD environment

　　Experience in Information Assurance / Cybersecurity, including development, integration, and implementation of cybersecurity and program protection standards for networking, computers, andcustom applications.

　　Thorough knowledge of the Department of Defense 8510.01 Risk Management Framework (RMF) for DoD Information Technology, DoD Instruction 8500.1 Cybersecurity, DoD Directive 8140.01, Cyberspace Workforce Management, NIST 800 Special Publications, Federal Information Processing Standards (FIPS), and knowledge of current authorization practices, particularly within the DoD.

　　Experience in creating and maintaining the security configuration baselines for Windows andLinux platforms,networking equipment, cloud technologies, andcustom applications.

　　Must possess DoD Approved Baseline Certification as Information Assurance Manager Level II (i.e. CISSP, GSLC or CISM)

　　Education

　　B.S. in Computer Science, Information System Management or equivalent degree program, from an ABET-accredited institution

　　An additional 10 years of relevant experience may be substituted for the degree
