　　Your New Role

　　 The Tax Director, Content Production Cost Recovery oversees all processes for determining tax-basis cost recovery for WBD content in the US. This includes amortization, tax basis determinations, gain/loss determinations, and defense of those items upon audit. The role involves working closely with other members of the Finance and accounting teams, business teams, and the rest of the tax team, which includes external colleagues under our co-source arrangement.

　　Your Role Accountabilities

　　Manage and review WBD by-title content costs recovery under the income forecast method IRC 167(g), 168(k), 181 and other relevant tax provisions for the quarterly tax accounting submissions and tax returns.Identify tax risks and develop planning ideas working closely with business partners and industry working groups to provide timely tax technical analysis and support.Manage and review various book/tax adjustments related to content productions and related deferred tax assets/liabilities.Maintain customized SAP tax solution systems and assist in choice and implementation of new content cost recovery systems.Maintain by-title support workpapers for BEAT, foreign source income and tax basis balance sheet calculations.

　　Qualifications & Experience

　　Over 8 years of relevant work experience in Tax, specifically in the Studio and Entertainment Industry.Mix of public/industry experience.Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fieldMaster's in Taxation preferredCPA preferredStrong analytical skills and high level of attention to detailsAdvanced Microsoft Excel skills and experience in manipulating and analyzing large volumes of data.Experienced in problem solving and ability to make decisions.Good communication skills and proven ability to develop professional relationships with internal and external parties.Demonstrated ability to contribute to a culture of excellence, integrity, and accountability.

　　In compliance with local law, we are disclosing the compensation, or a range thereof, for roles in locations where legally required. Actual salaries will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to external market data, internal equity, location, skill set, experience, and/or performance. Base pay is just one component of Warner Bros. Discovery's total compensation package for employees. Pay Range: $145,250.00 - $269,750.00 salary per year. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, Warner Bros. Discovery provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, an employee wellness program, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays and sick time and vacation.
