　　The Finance Team includes Accounting, Finance Business Partnership, Finance Operations, Financial Systems, Internal Audit, Investor Relations, Tax, and Treasury teams. Together, the team partners with leadership to provide insights, information, and guidance to make strategic and operational decisions, inform investors about our business model and progress, and ensure the company is financially healthy and consistently meeting our reporting obligations.

　　We’re looking for a Domestic Tax Analyst to join the Snap Finance team in Santa Monica! You’ll play a key role on our Tax Operations team, assisting with Federal and State tax matters and collaborating with other groups within our tax and broader finance teams to support our global tax planning, accounting and compliance functions

　　What you’ll do:

　　Prepare Federal (inclusive of US taxation of foreign earnings) and state income tax returns

　　Prepare US indirect tax (i.e. local requirements, property taxes, etc.) calculations, accounting reconciliations and filings

　　Support domestic income and indirect tax audits and inquiries

　　Prepare and maintain a tax compliance calendar to facilitate timely filings of estimated payments, extensions, and returns

　　Monitor key legislative updates to determine the tax impact to Snap.

　　Assist with preparation of quarterly and annual US Federal and state income tax provisions in accordance with ASC740

　　Participate in ad hoc special projects (ie tax incentives) and help implement process improvements

　　Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

　　Must be able to operate effectively and accurately in a deadline-driven fast-paced environment

　　Must have a strong work ethic and be able to successfully manage multiple competing priorities simultaneously

　　Detail oriented with strong trouble-shooting and problem-solving skills

　　Strong communicator with desire and ability to build relationships

　　Great attention to detail without losing sight of the big picture

　　Minimum Qualifications:

　　Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field, or equivalent years of experience

　　1+ years tax experience in public accounting firm, corporate tax department of multinational company

　　Preferred Qualifications:

　　Master's degree in taxation, CPA

　　Proficient in OneSource Income Tax

　　Experience with RIA Checkpoint Tax research software

　　Strong Excel skills

　　In the United States, work locations are assigned a pay zone which determines the salary range for the position. The successful candidate’s starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. These pay zones may be modified in the future.

　　The base salary range for this position is $100,000-$140,000 annually.

　　Zone B (https://careers.snap.com/us-payzones) :

　　The base salary range for this position is $95,000-$133,000 annually.

　　Zone C (https://careers.snap.com/us-payzones) :

　　The base salary range for this position is $85,000-$119,000 annually.

　　This position is eligible for equity in the form of RSUs.
