Kforce has a client that is seeking to hire a Tax Accountant in Springfield, Massachusetts (MA).Summary:This client is a long-running financial services company that is rapidly growing. They offer a competitive benefits package that includes a pension plan and 401K. They also pay bonuses and offer flexible hours. This role will work in a hybrid schedule.Responsibilities Include:

　　Tax Accountant will support tax planning opportunities, M&A transactions, and modeling tax impacts

　　Prepare income tax provisions

　　Prepare Federal and state tax compliance

　　Assist with GAAP and statutory audits

　　Support IRS and state audits

　　As a Tax Accountant, you will drive improvements and efficiencies

　　Analyze trends and direct efforts

　　Collaborate with external auditors

　　Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related

　　3 years of federal corporation tax experience

　　3 years of experience with GAAP - ASC 740

　　Strong communication skills

　　CPA or MST is a plus

　　Statutory tax accounting experience is a plus

　　The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
