Are you the type of person who communicates well, sees the big picture, and enjoys helping others learn new skills that will help them grow in their careers? In this role you will facilitate training in the classroom and online for Vermeer team members around the world. Additionally, you will implement and assess training from vendors and internal subject matter experts. We’re looking for someone with strong presentation and instructional design skills to facilitate engaging adult learning.

What You’ll Do
Facilitate classroom and live online training on a variety of business, professional and interpersonal topics. Cross-train to facilitate additional training topics as needed.
Design and maintain training content including presentations, videos, workbooks and activities following adult learning and instructional design principles. Promote design consistency for all custom training content.
Meet with stakeholders to assess learning needs and identify skill gaps. Partner with subject matter experts to develop and deliver training content using methods such as instructor-led training, online learning or job aids.
Assess and select materials, courses and/or tools from external sources to supplement training. Ensure alignment to existing curriculum.
Solicit feedback from participants to assess the effectiveness of the training and review evaluations with stakeholders. Implement improvements to the training based on the feedback and evaluations.
Maintain records of training completions, attendance, and assessment results in the learning management system (LMS). Use training data to drive decision-making and planning. The level of LMS expertise required may vary by role.
What We’re Looking For
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, Education/Adult Learning, or Communications.
Certifications from Crucial Conversations for Mastering Dialogue, HBDI: Whole Brain Thinking, Clifton StrengthsFinder or ATD (Association for Talent Development) are preferred, but not required for consideration.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in talent development or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Excellent classroom and online facilitation skills including presence, poise, ability to connect with participants, appropriately answer questions and manage time well.
Coaching skills such as active listening, asking open-ended questions, and providing feedback.
Ability to build and maintain positive interpersonal relationships across the organization including participants, subject matter experts, stakeholders and leaders.
Travel
Occasional travel is expected of this position.Work Location
HYBRID: Some of a team member’s day-to-day work may be best done at a location other than a Vermeer campus. Discuss specific arrangements with your manager.
